Easy Avocado Toast with Feta & Sriracha
Featuring feta, tomatoes, and sriracha , this easy avocado toast is the perfect mid-day snack to keep you going! Fresh avocado is mashed up then placed onto a toasted piece of bread. It is then topped with crumbly feta cheese, spicy radishes, and fresh juicy cherry tomatoes. Then a nice drizzling of sriracha and a few hemp seeds, and you have yourself a hearty, satisfying, and EASY snack!
If you are a fan of avocados, then you will be a fan of this avocado toast! It is so full of flavor and texture, making it absolutely perfect as an appetizer or as a mid-day snack!
Avocados: Delicious + Healthy
Avocados themselves are such a power food! As most know, they are full of healthy fats, but they also contain a good amount of fibre, and double the potassium of bananas! They are also a great source of vitamins C, E, K, and B-6. Delicious and healthy, sign me up! A fun-fact: Did you know avocados are actually a fruit? Weird huh?
Any Bread Will Do
I used country sourdough for my recipe, but feel free to use any sturdy bread that you have on hand! You can toast the bread in your toaster or in the oven, as well.
Sriracha and Feta: The Perfect Accompaniments
My favorite part of this avocado toast is the sriracha! The spicy-sweet flavor of sriracha pairs so wonderfully with the creaminess of the avocado. Then, because cheese makes everything better, fresh crumbly feta cheese is added on top to provide a salty umami component to the avocado toast.
The Toppings
I then threw on some fresh vegetables – radishes and juicy cherry tomatoes, to add a fresh crunchy component to the avocado toast. You, however, can use whatever vegetables you desire. I just quite enjoy the sweetness of the tomatoes and the spiciness of the radish when paired with the other ingredients. Lastly, the hemp seeds on top add a subtle nutty flavor to the avocado toast. However, their addition has many other benefits as well. Hemp seeds are an excellent source of essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6. They also provide a great source of vegetable-based protein, as well as iron, potassium, and vitamin A!

Ingredients
- 1 Avocado,, removed from peel and mashed
- 2 slices Sturdy Bread,, toasted
- 1-2 tbsp Crumbled Feta
- 6 Cherry Tomatoes,, sliced in half
- 4-6 Thinly Sliced Pieces of Radishe
- 1 tsp Hemp Seeds
- A Drizzling of Sriracha
- Salt & Pepper,, to taste
- (Optional) Radish Microgreens
Instructions
- Add mashed avocado evenly onto toasted pieces of bread. Top with feta, tomatoes, radishes, hemp seeds, and (optional) radish microgreens. Drizzle with sriracha, then season with salt and pepper. Enjoy immediately.
